Sidonie Porterie

Background, Interest, Experience:
Sidonie is a specialist in Security Sector Reform and Arms Control Policies. She is currently the Vice Director of INECIP (Instituto de Estudios Comparados en Ciencias Sociales y Penales) and a consultant for the National Parliament of Argentina since 2006.

She has previously worked as the Co-ordinator of ILSED (Instituto Latinoamericano de Seguridad y Democracia), researcher for FLACSO Argentina, Specialist in Access to Justice and Security Sector Reform for the UNDP LAC SURF in Panamá, and teacher at the Universidad de Buenos Aires.

Education:
Sidonie holds an Honor Degree in Political Science with orientation in Administration and Public Policy from Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires, Argentina, as well as different specializations in the relevant areas.
