Stefanie Stantcheva

Background, Interest, Experience:
Stefanie is currently a PhD candidate in Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), in Boston.

 

During the past four years she has worked as a part time research analyst with the Poverty Action Lab of MIT. She has participated in the setup and evaluation of several development economics projects, in Morocco and India, ranging from microcredit provision to the improvement of health

 

Stephanie has also worked as an economic consultant at the World Bank as well as in the capacity of management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Paris.

 

Education:
Stefanie holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Cambridge University, UK and a double Master in Economics and Finance from Ecole Polytechnique and the Paris School of Economics in France.
