Tara Lisa Persaud

Background, Interest, Expereince:
Tara Lisa has worked in the field of international development for the past ten years. She is currently the Co-ordinator of Research and Knowledge Management at the Secretariat for the V Summit of the Americas in Trinidad and Tobago.

Prior to this she worked with the United Nations Development Programme on gender equality and women's empowerment. She has also worked on the National Information and Communications Technology Plan for Trinidad and Tobago, and as the Economic Affairs Attaché for the Antigua and Barbuda High Commission to the United Kingdom, representing Antigua and Barbuda at the World Trade Organization.

Education:
Tara Lisa holds Degrees from Wellesley College, Massachusetts, and the London School of Economics and Political Science, London.
