Tenia KyriaziBackground, Interest, Experience: Tenia has worked as a lecturer in Corporate Law at the University of Middlesex, Dubai. She has also worked as a legal consultant at the Greek Mission of the International Organization for Migration as well as the Hellenic Migration Policy Institute, a research institute supervised by the Greek Ministry of the Interior. Her work involved advising and coordinating the implementation of EU and government funded projects on migration and trafficking. Prior to this Tenia was working as a legal advisor for the Human Rights Defense Centre, a Greek NGO which undertakes projects on human rights education, inter-organizational networking and assistance to vulnerable social groups. Education: Tenia holds a PhD in International Law from the Law School of the University of Athens, Greece. She is specialized in International Human Rights Law with specific focus on human trafficking. Tenia also holds a LLB from the Law School of the University of Athens and a LLM degree in International Law and International Relations from Kent University/ Brussels School of International Studies, Belgium.
