Terms, Conditions and Privacy Policy


Part I - General

These terms, conditions and the privacy policy herein are applicable to any person or individual in public private or corporate capacity - herein after referred to as “the client”. The terms, conditions and the privacy policy regulate their use of the Sustainable Development Group International/ SDGI Consulting - Sweden website www.sdg-int.org, subdomains and subdirectories as well as the data policy. These terms and conditions are also applicable to all services offered on the website.

By accessing, using, viewing, transmitting, caching or storing our website or any of the services offered therein, the client agrees to be bound by the terms, conditions and the privacy policy which are in their entirety part of the agreement between the client and SDGI Consulting - Sweden.

SDGI Consulting – Sweden reserves the sole right to change and amend the herein terms, conditions and the privacy policy without prior notice. The client is solely responsibly and has an obligation to keep updated and informed on any possible changes. Continued use of the website and services offered amounts to an explicit agreement to any changes.

In case of any use, of the SDGI Consulting – Sweden website and services provided herein, on behalf of an organization or a company, the client acknowledges that that they are authorized to sign and enter a binding agreement on behalf of their organisation or company.

By making use of the website and services therein, the client agrees that all information provided by the client is true, up to date and complete. If the client does not agree to these terms and conditions, they will not be able to make use of any online products or services.


Part II - Access and Use of Website

Access to website

Anyone can access the general content of our website without creating and registering a client profile with SDGI Consulting - Sweden. In order to make full use of our services provided a client account is mandatory.
SDGI Consulting – Sweden takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the website and the services therein are available without interruption. SDGI is not liable or can be held responsible for possible downtime due to server and other technical issues. SDGI Consulting – Sweden cannot guarantee that services will be uninterrupted or error free. SDGI Consulting – Sweden is thereby not liable in case of website or the services provided become temporarily or fully unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances or actions of third parties.

Use of website

The SDGI website and all content therein is only to be used by individuals or organizations. Commercial use of products and services provided therein is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from SDGI Consulting – Sweden. SDGI Consulting – Sweden may refuse requests or revoke client access to the website or any of its services for any reasons. This is done at the discretion of SDGI Consulting – Sweden.

The client may not:

  • use the website or any content defined herein for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions, or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity or other activity which infringes the rights of SDGI/ SDGI Consulting - Sweden or others;
  • use any “deep-link”, “page-scrape”, “robot”, “spider” or other automated device, program, algorithm or method, or any similar manual process, to access, acquire, copy or monitor any portion of the website its content or any other related content;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of or service on the website, or any other systems or networks connected to the website, or to any of the services offered on or through the website, by hacking, password “mining” or any other illegitimate means;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the website or any network connected to the website, nor breach the security or authentication measures on the website or any network connected to the website;
  • reverse look-up, trace or seek to trace any information on any other user, visitor or registered client to the website, or any other clients, including any client account not owned by the client;
  • use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper and uninterrupted functions of the website or any transaction being conducted on the website, or with any other person’s use of the website;
  • take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the infrastructure of the website or SDGI and SDGI Consulting - Sweden’s systems or networks, or any systems or networks connected to the website or to SDGI and SDGI Consulting - Sweden.

Proprietary rights information

CONTENT: All text, graphics, photographs, videos, user interfaces, visual interfaces, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork and computer code (collectively: “Content”), including but not limited to website design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, “look and feel” and arrangement of content, contained on the website is owned, controlled, licensed by or to SDGI Consulting - Sweden and is protected by copyright, design, patent and trademark laws, and other intellectual property rights and unfair competition laws. No license or right to or in any such copyrights, trademarks, patents, designs, trade secrets, products or other proprietary rights of SDGI Consulting - Sweden and/or other parties is granted to or conferred to any client or general user.

The website and content may not be partially or fully copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, translated, transmitted or distributed in any other way (including mirroring) to any other computer, server, website or other medium for publication or distribution or for any commercial enterprise, without a prior written consent from SDGI Consulting - Sweden. The client may not use any framing techniques to frame any SDGI Consulting - Sweden trademarks, logos or other proprietary information, nor use any metatags or other hidden text utilizing the SDGI Consulting - Sweden name, trademark or other proprietary information.

The client may use information visible on SDGI Consulting - Sweden products and services (such as data sheets, knowledge base articles, and similar content), purposely made available by SDGI Consulting - Sweden for downloading from the website, provided that the client:

  1. do not remove any proprietary notice language in all copies of such documents;
  2. use such information only for the client’s personal, non-commercial informational purpose and do not copy or post such information on any networked computer or broadcast it in any media;
  3. make no modifications to any such information;
  4. do not make any additional representations or warranties relating to such documents.

CLIENT FEEDBACK: If the client submits any ideas, comments, suggestions or other information to SDGI Consulting - Sweden in the use of the website (collectively “feedback”), the client agree that such feedback shall be deemed the property of SDGI Consulting – Sweden. Any feedback may then be used by SDGI Consulting - Sweden without restrictions, for any purpose, and without compensation to the client. None of the feedback shall be subject to any obligation of confidentiality on SDGI Consulting - Sweden’s part.

PROCEDURE FOR MAKING CLAIMS OF INFRINGEMENT: SDGI Consulting - Sweden respects the intellectual property rights of others. If the client believes that the client’s work, photo or brand or the client’s intellectual property rights have been violated by its exposure on a SDGI Consulting - Sweden website, please provide us with the following information:

  1. an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest,
  2. a description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that the client claim has been infringed
  3. a description of where the material that the client claim is infringing is located on the website,
  4. the client’s address, telephone number, and e-mail address,
  5. a statement by the client that the client, in good faith, believes that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law, and
  6. a statement by the client, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in the client’s notice is accurate, and that the client is the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright or intellectual property owner.

Accounts, passwords and security

A client account is necessary in order to access certain features or services offered on and through the website. This entails setting up a personal client ID and password. The client is entirely and solely responsible for maintaining the full confidentiality of any data and activity in relation to the client account. Failure by the client to keep this information secure and confidential does not port any liability on behalf of Sustainable Development Group International and SDGI Consulting – Sweden.

The client agrees to notify SDGI Consulting - Sweden immediately of any unauthorized use of the client’s account or password, or any other breach of security. A client account is strictly personal and may not under any circumstances be transferred, assigned or shared with a third party. SDGI Consulting - Sweden cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the client’s failure to comply with these obligations. A client may be held liable for losses incurred by SDGI Consulting - Sweden or any other client due to unwarranted and unauthorised use of a client account - if a client fails to keep account information secure and confidential.

Additionally, the client acknowledges and agree that internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. The client understands that any message or information the client sends to the website may be read or intercepted by others, even if there is a special notice that a particular transmission (for example, credit card information) is encrypted.

Exclusion of warranty and limitation of liability

The client hereby agrees that the use of the website is at the client’s own risk. The website and the content is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.

In no event, subject to what is permitted under applicable law, shall SDGI Consulting - Sweden, its agents, representatives or licensors be liable to a client or any other party for any loss or injury or any damages, either direct, indirect, punitive or otherwise resulting from or in any way connected to the client’s use of this website or any of the services offered therein. 


Part III - SDGI Consulting - Sweden Training and Services

By using the services on the website, such as (but not limited to) the online training provided by SDGI Consulting - Sweden, the client accepts these terms, conditions and the privacy policy in their entirety and with no reservation to any of the parts of their terms.

Training on the SDGI Consulting – Sweden website

SDGI Consulting – Sweden offers capacity building and training which is available on and can be streamed from the website.

To purchase and access a training on the SDGI Consulting – Sweden website, the client must also register for a valid client account. All clients agree to follow the instructions provided by us for the purpose of creating accounts. Client accounts are strictly personal and may not be transferred, assigned or shared with any other person or legal entity. If a client becomes aware of any breach or use of their account by third party, they are obliged to take all steps necessary to end such practice. This may entail, but is not limited to, change of password or terminating the compromised account.

In addition, any breach or infringement on the integrity of a personal client account must immediately be reported to SDGI Consulting – Sweden by the respective client. Failure to do so may result in termination or suspension of the client account as well as the possibility to access future services provided by SDGI Consulting – Sweden.

Prices and taxes

Prices for the trainings offered are set by SDGI Consulting - Sweden. SDGI Consulting - Sweden reserves the right to change the prices listed for any services provided by SDGI Consulting - Sweden without notice. We reserve the right to change a price after an order has been made if the price published on our website is wrong due to an error by SDGI Consulting - Sweden or due to factors otherwise outside of our control. In addition to the price for the digital service, there may be additional costs for payments depending on the payment method chosen by the client.

SDGI Consulting – Sweden is not responsible or liable for any additional costs incurred due to international transactions and banking fees. Information on prices and payment methods are shown in direct relation to each product or service provided by SDGI Consulting - Sweden. The total sum to be paid by the client will be shown before the client places the order or agrees to the amount.

Campaigns or price reductions will be shown on SDGI Consulting – Sweden’s website in immediate relation to the product or service. Promotions cannot be combined.

Order and payment

When purchasing or subscribing to a service or training provided by SDGI Consulting – Sweden, the client is offered to purchase that training on the terms stated herein. SDGI Consulting - Sweden has the right to decline or cancel any order at its discretion if it so deems right. SDGI Consulting – Sweden reserves the right to withdraw any advertised training or service from the website. It may be done without prior notice at our discretion. Information regarding payment methods is shown on SDGI Consulting - Sweden website prior to placing the order and choice of payment method. SDGI Consulting – Sweden does not provide any refunds for purchased online content.

Access to training on the SDGI Consulting - Sweden website

The client will be provided access to purchased training after payment in full and on the terms of the license referred below. Access to our services or training on our website is in general limited to 60 days from the date of purchase. Following purchase, services or training is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Products or services that are taken off the website will remain available for the duration of the purchase but no more than three months. Should different conditions apply, they will be stated in relation to each product or service. SDGI Consulting - Sweden has no responsibility for the failure to make available purchased content, including the streaming services provided by third parties.

The client agrees that SDGI Consulting - Sweden may at any time without notice terminate the client user account and delete all information stored on it, including any information or materials added by the client, unless it contains training materials that is still available in the service.

SDGI Consulting - Sweden viewing requirements

It is the client’s responsibility to obtain and maintain the proper hardware and software required to access the trainings or services purchased on SDGI Consulting - Sweden. It is the client’s responsibility to access, download any necessary software as well as keep it up to date. SDGI Consulting - Sweden online training and services requires internet connectivity. SDGI Consulting – Sweden recommends a connection speed of at least 5 megabits per second for an optimal experience with HD capability. For media other than video (only viewable within the training) a PDF reader is required.

Intellectual Property

All training and services content provided is the property of SDGI Consulting - Sweden and protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Subject to these terms and conditions, clients are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to make personal and non-commercial use of the training or service purchased. The content may not be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without SDGI Consulting - Sweden’s prior written permission and the client may not allow anyone else to access the training via the client’s account or similar. The right to view the training is strictly personal and may not be transferred, assigned or shared with a third party. Any SDGI Consulting training or service provided on the website may not under any circumstance be used commercially or for the education of others by a client or third party.

The purchase of a training or service does not imply a purchase of any software or content of the training that the client is given access to. SDGI Consulting - Sweden reserves the right to terminate any license or access to a client account or training if privy of any violation to these terms and conditions.

The right to any material such as but not limited to images or text sent to SDGI Consulting - Sweden for feedback or the purpose of consultations or mentoring, stays with the owner and is not transferred to SDGI Consulting - Sweden. However, SDGI Consulting - Sweden is granted a right to use and publish any material on SDGI Consulting - Sweden’s social media channels. In such case, SDGI Consulting - Sweden undertakes to always publish the image together with adequate source references.

Limitation of liability

SDGI Consulting - Sweden does not accept any liability for any intended or unintended omissions provided in any of our provided services or training.

Right to return

By purchasing a service or training on SDGI Consulting - Sweden, the client acknowledge that the service or training is provided in a digital format. Therefore, once the purchased material has been made available to the client it is not possible to cancel the purchase or return the material. Any complaints or dissatisfaction with our services or training must be communicated to SDGI Consulting – Sweden within 14 days of purchase. No refunds are possible for any online service or training.

Part IV - Privacy Policy

Processing of personal data

The SDGI Privacy Policy covers how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store information about our clients. Our processing of personal data is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please read through the privacy policy.

Data controller and contact information

SDGI Consulting – Sweden, the controller, acquires limited personal data when the client use our website, purchase our products and services and create an SDGI account. For questions or inquiries, please contact SDGI Consulting – Sweden at info@sdg-int.org.

Personal data - definition, collection and use

Personal data is hereafter defined as all information that relates directly or indirectly to an identifiable individual or person. SDGI Consulting – Sweden collects personal data in the following ways:

  • With the purpose of improving the client user experience, we store and process information about user behaviour on our website.
  • When the client create an account, we store and process first name, surname, email, and organisation the client are working with at the moment of registration.
  • When the client purchase any available online training or services, we store and process the client IP address, first name, surname, delivery address, email and mobile number. The client purchase history is also stored and processed. This is done with the sole purpose of providing quality online capacity building and good customer service to the client.

How we use your personal data

Personal data collected by SDGI Consulting – Sweden will be used to:

  • For the purpose of creating, maintaining and general administration of the client SDGI account.
  • For the purpose of providing online services and products.
  • Further ameliorate, development and delivery of our products, services, content, advertising and communication.
  • Fulfil any legal obligations that arise such as accounting and tax regulations.
Processing personal data is necessary in order for SDGI Consulting - Sweden to fulfil any contractual obligations towards the client as a client and member of SDGI. Please note that, if the client is not willing to provide any information this may in some instances impede delivery of our products and services. SDGI Consulting – Sweden further processes personal data for marketing purposes, as per our legitimate commercial interest in marketing our products and services to clients and potential clients. SDGI Consulting - Sweden has a legal obligation to process personal data, for, but not limited to accounting purposes.

Disclosure to Third Parties

SDGI Consulting – Sweden may disclose and share personal data to strategic partners that work with or market our products and services. Personal data will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

SDGI Consulting – Sweden may by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside the client’s country of residence be obliged to disclose personal data. We may also disclose information about the client for the purposes of national security, law enforcement or other issues of public importance.

In addition, in the event of a reorganization, merger or sale, we may transfer all collected personal data to the relevant third party to be used for the same purpose and according to the same terms and conditions as set out in this Privacy Policy.

Protection of personal data

SDGI Consulting – Sweden takes precautions, including administrative, technical, and physical measures, to safeguard the client personal data against loss, theft, misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

Please note that, posts in any SDGI related forums, chat room, or social media or networking service may disclose the client personal data shared. SDGI Consulting – Sweden does not take any responsibility for personal data the client choose to submit to third parties.

Your rights

SDGI Consulting - Sweden is also obligated, upon the client request, to confirm whether or not personal data regarding the client is being processed as well as give the client access to information regarding the processing. The client also have the right to receive personal data that has been provided by the client to SDGI Consulting - Sweden in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. SDGI is obliged to meet any written requests regarding the client data within a one-month period. This period may in some cases be extended by two months. All requests can be made by email to info@sdg-int.org.

Personal data will be kept for five (5) years for the purpose of additional courses, customer care and available discounts. If the client has purchased one of our available online services, we retain the necessary personal data as long as the product is available on our website.

If the client experience an infringement of the client rights according to the GDPR, the client have a right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority of the client country of residence, or to The Swedish Data Protection Authority.

Third-Party sites and services

The SDGI Consulting – Sweden website may contain links to third-party websites, products and/or services. SDGI Consulting – Sweden does not take any responsibility for any content or privacy policies of third parties.

Transfer to third countries

Personal data may be transferred or accessed by entities within the organisation or should more consultancies become operational in other countries for the purposes and according to what is described in this Privacy Policy. Any future transfers to third countries are made in accordance with the provisions in Chapter V of the GDPR. Where necessary, SDGI Consulting – Sweden uses the standard data protection clauses adopted by the Commission to ensure safe transfer to third countries.

Part V - Miscellaneous

Severability

If any provision in these terms and conditions is determined to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall be enforceable to the extent permitted by applicable law and such determination of the provision shall not affect the validity of any other remaining provision in this agreement.

No waiver

No failure or delay by SDGI Consulting - Sweden to exercise any right, power or privilege under these terms and conditions shall operate as a waiver thereof.

Governing law

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the services offered therein, shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the substantive laws of Sweden.
